Terms
Last updated November 2026.
These terms cover your use of audiocomposer.io, the free trial, and your purchase and use of Audio Composer. "Pro" is the paid level of Audio Composer. By trying, buying or using Audio Composer, you agree to these terms.
Free trial
You can try Audio Composer Pro free for 7 days, with everything included and no payment details. A trial starts when you confirm your email address in the extension and ends 7 days later, measured by our server's clock; pausing or not using Audio Composer doesn't extend it. Each person and each computer can have one trial, and a trial runs on one computer. Please don't try to start more trials, extend one, or get around these limits (for example with temporary email addresses or by changing your computer's identity or clock); we may end trials that do. During the trial, Audio Composer checks your trial online when it starts and every 12 hours.
When the trial ends, Audio Composer keeps working with your library, but the Pro features need Pro. Anything you made during the trial stays yours. A trial isn't a purchase and doesn't renew or turn into a payment by itself.
Buying Audio Composer Pro
Audio Composer Pro is sold through Stripe Managed Payments, with Link (Stripe's checkout) acting as the merchant of record. Stripe handles checkout, payment, sales tax and VAT, and receipts, and the payment terms shown at checkout apply to it. The price is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Your download link arrives by email after purchase, and you activate Audio Composer Pro with the email address you bought it with.
Updates
Your purchase includes all future updates and versions of Audio Composer at no extra cost: fixes and new features, in Premiere Pro and After Effects. One purchase and one activation cover all of them, within the same computer limit below.
Requirements
Audio Composer requires Adobe Premiere Pro 25.6 or later, or Adobe After Effects 24.0 or later, on Windows. Please check that your setup meets this before you buy.
Your license
Your purchase gives you a personal license to install and use Audio Composer Pro on up to 2 of your own computers at a time. Activation uses your purchase email and emailed codes, so please keep them to yourself: don't share your activation with other people, and don't copy, resell or redistribute the software. A refund or a payment dispute ends the license. We may look into a purchase that is activated on an unusual number of computers.
Your files
Your music, sound effects and projects stay yours. Audio Composer works with the files on your computer and doesn't upload your library.
Other services
Some features connect to services you choose to use, such as ElevenLabs for generating sounds and AI apps such as Claude, Codex or Cursor. Those services have their own terms. You are responsible for your accounts with them, any credits or fees they charge, and how you use what they create.
No warranty
Audio Composer is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Audio Composer. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Trademarks
Premiere Pro and After Effects are trademarks of Adobe. Audio Composer is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe. Other product names belong to their owners.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
